GENERAL

This is a non exclusive agreement between Zapit Records and the artists. The artists retains all rights over the music, and hence is responsible for the music supplied. This includes, but is not restricted to, samples used, ownership, language etc.

DETAIL

LEGAL SAMPLES: Tracks provided belong to you, the artist, and no one else, and therefore you take all responsibility for samples (if any!) used in your music. The artist retains all rights to the music, and therefore all music stored on your CD/DVD/VHS must be created by you and must be original. Zapit Records in no way condones the use of illegal sample(s) and if any situation arises where an artist is using such samples, that artist's account will be frozen until the situation has been rectified, resulting in possible cancellation of this agreement.

INFORMATION: You can provide any information you want about the artist, such as contact details or links to websites, but please bare in mind that Zapit Records does not condone the use of foul language, and therefore artists using foul language will be warned, and this may possibly result in the cancellation of this agreement.

TERMINATION: This agreement may be terminated by either party at any time by sending written termination either via email or postal to the relevant party.

The Artist/Bands signing this agreement with ZAPIT RECORDS have permission from ZAPIT RECORDS to use the ZAPIT RECORDS name and Logo on any recorded material, merchandise etc used by the signed artist/band for sale and promotional purposes.

If you would like to have your CD electronically distributed via associated web sites/companies e.g: iTunes etc and sales reported to Soundscan who report all sales to the National and International Download Charts, we need your permission for this and we regretfully must ask for a joining fee of £ 45.00 to cover all the extra administration costs, please Tick this box to give us permission [ .......] and send your cheque for £ 45.00 made payable to ZAPIT RECORDS and post this cheque with this printed and signed agreement to : ZAPIT RECORDS, Big Tree Music, c/o 94 Carfax Avenue, Tongham, Farnham, Surrey, United Kingdom, GU10 1BB.
